That's fair.  Also more sea turtles than I could have imagined.  I feel quite privileged, as I get to teach a course there every year.

It's a cool place. Quite a bit of Green washing, though, and I was quite surprised at the number of cats and dogs. I did get my first Tattoo there swimming with sea lions. Being too cool I decided to show one some free fly moves, dove to the bottom and promptly speared myself on one of the big Sea Urchins they have. It's never to late in life to be a dumbass. The deep fried Scorpion Fish is good grub, for sure.

I intend to as well. Seems like 3+ days there and the same days back for 3-4 days of standing on ice staring at penguins and sea lions and it ain't cheap. I don't doubt the nightly talking to's are awesome though.

Antarctica was OK, but South Georgia was spectacular.

Hurts just looking at it.

I highly respect sea urchins.  As a teenager I cut them open to draw big fish into speargun range, now I just leave them be.

Yep, it was a booger. I told a niece it was a Tattoo of the Southern Cross and went up in her estimation, same as a Facebook Like I reckon.

Up to 259 in TX right now, with only 2 in fully vaccinated individuals.  296 total in the TX/NM/OK outbreak.

Damn! I was going to go pick up some raw milk and help the Mennonites raise a barn this week.

At this rate it will be the same as 2019.

No worries then.

Jan 22 2020: "We have it totally under control. It's one person coming in from China, and we have it under control. It's going to be just fine."

Jan 24: "China has been working very hard to contain the Coronavirus. The United States greatly appreciates their efforts and transparency. It will all work out well. In particular, on behalf of the American People, I want to thank President Xi!”

Feb 2: "We pretty much shut it down coming in from China.”

Feb 10: "I think the virus is going to be—it’s going to be fine.”

Feb 10: "Looks like by April, you know in theory when it gets a little warmer, it miraculously goes away.”

Feb 24: "The Coronavirus is very much under control in the USA… the Stock Market starting to look very good to me!”

Feb 25: "I think that's a problem that’s going to go away… They have studied it.”

Feb. 26: “The 15 (cases in the US) within a couple of days is going to be down to close to zero.”

Feb 27: "It's going to disappear. One day — it's like a miracle — it will disappear."

Mar 5: "The United States… has, as of now, only 129 cases… and 11 deaths. We are working very hard to keep these numbers as low as possible!”

Mar 6:  “I think we’re doing a really good job in this country at keeping it down… a tremendous job at keeping it down.”

Mar 7: “You have to be calm. It’ll go away.”

Mar 7:  "It goes away….It’s going away. We want it to go away with very, very few deaths.

Mar 11: "for the vast majority of Americans, the risk is very, very low"

And that turned out fine.

The mother of the child who died of measles appeared in a video on Monday with Children’s Health Defense, the anti-vaccine organization.

“We would absolutely not take the MMR. The measles wasn’t that bad" she said.

So having your child die "wasn't that bad"?  What kind of moron is this?

I thought it was spelled "Mormon".

Parents make life-changing decisions for their children. Sometimes they’re wrong. But it seems to me a little hypocritical to say that working with gender issues is worse than not taking vaccines or blood transfusions.

Or vice versa

There are two primary factors in measles:

1. Based on population density.

2. Based on population density.

Don't be number two.

Hi John,

A MAGA-moron is the term you are looking for.

Something about, 'I love the uneducated.'

Now they are overdosing their children on vitamin A. I guess Ivermectin isn't working.

"US Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy has centered his response to the outbreak on vitamin A, even suggesting in a Fox News interview that it could work 'as a prophylaxis.' . . .The hospitalized children with the toxicity were all unvaccinated."

Up next - chloroquine.
