Tsunami160 0 #1 June 2, 2013 Hey, my names Rory and I've been skydiving recently. I'm super stoked. I have a question about jumping from those tall radio antannas. It looks like there's huge cables tied to the towers, and the jumpers fly right past them. How dangerous is that?

gowlerk 2,216 #3 June 2, 2013 Just as dangerous as you are imagining. But this is the wrong forum to learn about it.Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free.
Tsunami160 0 #4 June 3, 2013 Ok, so specificly, this forum is dedicated to jumping out of a plane over a drop zone. Got it. Still seems really Gnarly.
Tsunami160 0 #5 June 3, 2013 Thanks Labrys, I checked out base jumper.com. You're right, they talk all about that stuff. I'm more interested in diving from a plane anyway.
jumpinjackflsh 0 #6 June 3, 2013 Just remember whatever you choose to do in regards to this sport, like so many other things it's not always the obviously gnarly stuff that'll punch your ticket. Diving out of planes, plain vanilla skydiving, is still gnarly enough at the end of the day.
