And worth repeating again that Walz said the journalist effectively hacked in by changing his screen name so he looked like someone else. Leaving that there's no evidence that happened, this is Mike Walz's own claim about how secure the chat was. He searched for someone by name only and added them to the chat... And he even thought that excuse was legit enough to play well on national TV!

 

Giving out info on that basis alone could get you fired from high street retail.

Personally, I give two shits about TikTok. Yesterday, Trump signed ANOTHER EO allowing TikTOk to remain another 75 days. It's now China threatening to shut it down. Sounds like they might have read, "The Art of the Deal" also.

I’ve not heard that saying before! 

I wasn’t aware of the EO or that they have threatened to shut it down. The reality is they are highly unlikely to shut it down because just like Facebook and Twitter they get to harvest enormous amounts of user data and it’s a very effective disinformation tool. I’ve no doubt that their algorithms can promote material that undermines Trump.

It now turns out that Hegseth shared the same information at the same time on another group chat he started using his personal phone... with members of his family and friends. 

I look forward to hearing him explain how his own wife tricked him into inviting her into the Yemen Warplans Casual Group chat. "It's not my fault, she changed her screen name! I thought she was the babysitter..."

Along the lines of “elect a clown and expect a circus” I don’t think it takes much thought to realise that a journalist/tv personality natural instinct is to “get the scoop” and share news. 

Honestly, I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised if there isn’t a signal group going with him and a couple of Fox News staff/Joe Rogan’s.

Agreed.  This isn't the first - or second - time he's done this.  It's just the second time he got caught.

A common tactic cheaters use is to name a contact inauspiciously so John is really Susie from the pub. I’d imagine a republican who’s an anonymous source for the fake news might use the same tactic.
