Is there any recent change in Tandem BSR ?  if so what is the change ?

Lower Lateral re-attachment before landing.
USPA covering there ass due to lack of professional evaluators or some evaluators I like to add. Just my guess and thought.
it’s fascism to my knowledge.

Re-attachment to the instructor's harness.

Sounds like a good idea to do prior to burying another toggle in the clip.

When I went thru the TI course; it was "loosen the lower attachments." Course, butt slide landings were frowned upon then too.

More so when jumping Strong DH rigs, but the slide landings were definitely frowned upon by the sky gods, but Strong had a habit of hanging out at Z-Hills threatening to pull your ticket for hook turns. If only they would have given us better canopies than the SET's.

After having an elderly student break her leg on landing, I preferred the butt slide as I could get under the student and be sure their legs were up. Stand up landing would sometimes require hooking student feet with mine, but landing 4 tangled feet wasn't good either.

I think a butt slide prevents instructor flipping over the student, no matter where the lats are - and standups are still fine too.
