paulpaylado 0 #1 May 8, 2013 I dislocated my right shoulder twice while free falling. I will be getting surgery by June. I need to know if anyone ever had a shoulder surgery or numerous dislocation and got back to skydiving. and how long did you wait to completely recover, or got back to skydiving. I am still a student and was hoping to get my license by now, but my shoulder had to dislocate. i wanted to skydive all summer but when i get my surgery my summer will be boring. Overall i have 6 dislocation. My first dislocation was from skydiving and my last was opening a fridge [/:|]
hookitt 1 #2 May 8, 2013 Get the surgery and forget about skydiving for the season and be ok with it. 3 months of nothing, then proper rehab, you'll be back in action. Push it and you're screwed. It's only a season so just accept it and do other things. Buy one of these ===> Cold Rush Cold Therapy System Seriously, that unit will be the best investment you'll ever make when it comes to your shoulder repair and rehab. Ice packs suck, pain killers get to a point they're not fun anymore. That unit will save you much agony. My grammar sometimes resembles that of magnetic refrigerator poetry...
