sneide 0 #1 May 7, 2013 Hi guys! It's me again seeking for some help. I've decided to go to the states in a few months to take the AFF Course, I'm going to spend like fourteen days or so there and all of them dedicated full time to skydiving. My main question is, once I've completed let's say 25 jumps or so, I was told that the DZ will help me out to fill out the form and then fax it to USPA. Once we've done that, how long does it take to get my license. Let's say that I'm back in Argentina when it arrives. Can most DZ ship it to my home ? thanks in advance as always! Esteban.-
JeffCa 0 #2 May 7, 2013 The USPA will send your licence to you in your country. I just got mine in Japan. Skydiving can be safe AND fun at the same time...Honest." - Bill Booth
popsjumper 2 #3 May 7, 2013 You can probably expect 3-4 weeks at least. My reality and yours are quite different. I think we're all Bozos on this bus. Falcon5232, SCS8170, SCSA353, POPS9398, DS239
Divalent 137 #4 May 7, 2013 Well, to be precise, you will have your license at the moment your instructor signs off on a fully completed A card. The card itself is proof of that. However, you then have 60 days to send it to USPA (fax or scan/email is fine) to get your license card and license number. After 60 days, the card is no good as proof of a license. (Note: one of the items on the card is membership in USPA, so you might want to apply for that as soon as you hit the states to start your training.)
