timeslikethese 0 #1 April 26, 2012 Has anyone bought one of the new MarS M2 AAD's? Thinking about replacing my soon to be expired Cypres with one. It is available for a good price and they have a long track record of making military AAD's, one of which actually saved someone at my DZ a few years ago. http://www.marsjev.cz/products/n-1.htm?lang=en

councilman24 37 #3 April 26, 2012 Check with TSE and your regulatory/rigging community to see if they are allowed in your Tear Drop. Last I knew no US manufacturer had approved them for use in their rigs in their manuals. US riggers have to follow the manufacturers manuals and so if they say only approved (by the manufacturer) AAD's can be used that's what we have to follow.I'm old for my age. But other approvals may already be completed as well. Contact your rig manufacturer for more information."You stop breathing for a few minutes and everyone jumps to conclusions. evan85 0 #8 April 25, 2013 Quotewhy not just roll with the trusted cyprus? Because the M2 is cheaper by almost half -- it's $999. Now, that's not a good enough reason for me (or, I'm guessing by your post, for you), but that's the reason people are giving the M2 a hard look.
