EtherPilot 0 #1 April 23, 2013 Provided the student pulls at 5500' and flies a mongo parachute like a 280, what is the typical time under parachute until touch down? Thanks! If freefall lasted five minutes, skydiving would replace sex.

Cutaway68 4 #3 April 23, 2013 How many maneuvers are performed (360's, etc.)? Don't Pull Low... Unless You ARE!!! The pessimist says, "It can't get any worse than this." The optimist says, "Sure, it can." Be fun, have safe.

GooniesKid 0 #7 April 23, 2013 QuoteProvided the student pulls at 5500' and flies a mongo parachute like a 280, what is the typical time under parachute until touch down? Thanks! Yo! I figured this out. Student is 200lbs flying a 280 which is roughly .7WL. During aff my WL was about .7 also. When I pulled at 5500grand it took me about 8 minutes to get back down. I used the Altirack on my AFF dives and have the times recorded during the canopy flight down. edited: during the 8 minute flight down i did not do any 360 spins,,i was still in AFF so i was scared to push the canopy :D
