Buying from France

Bought a jvx 99 from a guy in france. Been almost 13 days. Says its still in customs. Anyone have any experience buying overseas ? And does it usually take awhile? Thanks

my experience was from US to OZ two rigs from chuting star and easy sat in customs that long with not just the shipping time and then notification via traditional mail, customer clearance payments etc

I bought a wing from Canada, the shipping notification said it was still there, then it showed up, guess the notification didn't transfer.

I've ordered stuff from Europe (UK, Airmail), and it has taken anywhere from 4 days, to 23 for the stuff to get to me in AZ.

Does he have a tracking number?

I live in the UK and fortunately no problems whatsoever with a France to Uk transaction probably something to do with the UK & France being EU member states.
Brought from the states and the item cost me £342 of my hard earned english pounds to get the item released from HRMC(customs)

Yes have tracking#. But neither the usps or customs could find info on it. But colissimo.com says its being held by customs. Just trying to be patient

Wee sell in a lot of countries and USA as well, it takes a week or up to 12 days max. The company you bought from should send infos to customs to have the goods to be released. What is the company's name?

Is it coming in the mail or by courier? It can make a mountain of difference, even down to which courier.

Bought a reserve from the south of France in december 2012. Took almost a whole month to get to Belgium
Was also with colissimo (basically the French postal service)
