roostnureye 2 #1 February 10, 2013 i am posting this for a friend... Last night at Skydive Monroe there was a Fusion 150 that was cut away from a rig and stolen... the canopy is a 150 all black with two pink cells. sn# 87251206 this is a very small dropzone with a tight group of people. someone saw what happened, please be an honest skydiver and give the canopy back or tell who took it. the police have been involved, but if the canopy makes its way home there wont be any prosecution. if anyone has any info please pm me.Flock University FWC / ZFlock B.A.S.E. 1580 Aussie BASE
ianmdrennan 2 #2 February 10, 2013 You mean from a cutaway, or actually removed from the rig while on the ground? Post something in The Farm facebook page to get that group looking out for it. IanPerformance Designs Factory Team
savvyd 0 #3 February 10, 2013 Actually removed from the bag on the ground, riser and dbag were taken with the canopy

normiss 798 #5 February 10, 2013 That's very sad to hear of this happening. More so at a small tight dz.
roostnureye 2 #6 February 11, 2013 QuoteSo if I understand this right, someone broke into the hangar and stole a canopy from one particular rig? Any chance there is some type of ownership dispute over the rig or one person owes the other money? That just seems pretty personal to me. The hangar was not broken into, the main was taken before the hangar was locked up. It seems as there was a domestic fight before the canopy dissapeared. There is no question as to who owns the gear. Just who was involved in taking itFlock University FWC / ZFlock B.A.S.E. 1580 Aussie BASE

normiss 798 #14 February 11, 2013 So is everyone ok with jumping with the people on this DZ??? If I can't trust you around gear.....why would I trust anything there? Afraid someone dicked with my gear while on a jump, afraid someone on the ground is dicking with my other gear on the ground while I'm in the air.... I think I'd still have major issues with this. I hope you folks know who did this.

Everything is packed in it's own little labeled case or bag...I have spares for everything, plus rigging tools, batteries & cables. I do a check before heading to the DZ, quick & easy to see I have everything. Kinda shocked a while back when I noticed several things missing when I landed after a jump. ...it bothered me more that I couldn't trust than it did thing$ were missing, I'm pretty easy about loaning out or giving stuff away to those in 'need'. I've taken to leaving in the car, much of what I use to bring in...can't help but look around once in a while and wonder who the low-life is ~ ~ ~ sad, but it is what it is. ~ If you choke a Smurf, what color does it turn? ~
