bryceman 0 #1 November 6, 2012 Hey everyone! Was hopeing somebody could help answer some questions for me. I was doing AFF at lake elsinore in January and got to level 6. I dropped out due to financial reasons. However, I am now good to go. I will be starting back up in January 2013. That will be one year in between my last jump (level 6). Will I have to start from the first jump? I lost my log book so I don't have the paper that says where you would start from again. Thank you! guineapiggie101 0 #2 November 6, 2012 They might still have records of you. Do you remember the names of the AFF-I that you jumped with? Best bet is to drop by the DZ and talk to the instructors to see what can be done. Since you've been gone so long, they might have you repeat a level. labrys 0 #3 November 6, 2012 Will you be going back to the same DZ? Will the instructors there remember you fondly? You'll probably need to re-take the first jump course. Around my home DZ, someone in your shoes would probably be asked to repeat the category C jump with 1 or 2 instructors, then move back to the point you left off at if that goes well. It's a DZ comfort level thing and there are no hard / fast rules other than most follow and probably exceed the re-currency recommendations in the SIM, which is available here: http://www.uspa.org/SIM/Read/tabid/245/Default.aspx Owned by Remi #?
