First International Boogie Help

Recommended Posts

So I am planning on attending the Puerto Rico Freefall Festival in February and this will be the first time I am traveling out of the country to attend a skydiving event (I'm from NY btw). I was wondering if anyone had tips or things to keep in mind when traveling. Some things I'm curious about include but are not limited to:

How to best transport my rig

Economical ways to travel/plan this trip

Where should I stay?

How much money should I bring?

Anything else you could offer would definitely help!

Thanks in advance!
Never give up on something you can't go a day without thinking about.

-Bring condoms, and beer. Also, bring more beer for your first international boogie.

That should about cover it! Sorry, I'm just being an ass, have a great trip!

It's not international but it is a lot of fun. ;)

How to best transport my rig

search for travel with gear and read up on the pro's and con's of the different ways of taking your rig. I prefer carry on in a bag. but make your own choice on that.

Economical ways to travel/plan this trip

friends. split the rental car and the lodging between lots of people

Where should I stay?

rent a beach house with friends. it's a blast and doesnt end up costing much if you pack it with people.

How much money should I bring?

lots.

Anything else you could offer would definitely help!

go explore the island. do non-jumping stuff. talk to the locals. hang out on the beach. the best parts of these kind of boogies imho are the non-skydiving parts. The jumping really isnt that much different. but the location is.

Thanks in advance!
