guppykf 0 #1 September 23, 2012 Not sure if this is the right category, but here's my question. I'm arriving in Orlando tomorrow at 11:00 a.m. and my ride to Deland just fell through. So looking for a ride up to Deland from ORL. Option 1: Anyone heading from ORL going to Deland want to split a ride? Option 2: Any tunnel instructors want to schedule me for about 30 minutes of tunnel time and possibly shoot me up to Deland afterwards for an extra fee?THRIVING IN MY DASH!! Morrison79 0 #2 September 23, 2012 Just rent a car. It's probably going to be way less of a pain than trying to find rides.
PhreeZone 20 #3 September 23, 2012 Get a car from the airport. its about $25 a day in MCO so far less hassle. For tunnel time I hope you already have time on the books since they book up quickly and if you don't already have time you might be out of luck.Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com
jackwallace 3 #4 September 23, 2012 There is a shuttle from the airport to Deland. Go down to lowest level of terminal. It same one that goes to Daytona.U only make 2 jumps: the first one for some weird reason and the last one that you lived through. The rest are just filler. scr
guppykf 0 #5 September 23, 2012 Thanks everyone! Looks like the Tunnel is still down; they hope to have it back up tomorrow night..fingers crossed. In regards to a ride, the Shuttle (Deland Express) was $85 for 1 way and a little cheaper if you roundtrip it, but as Morrison stated I looked at renting a car and found a midsize car with taxes included was only $18 a day, so I am going that route. Thanks again!THRIVING IN MY DASH!!
