Freddiekz 0 #1 August 27, 2012 Quick question, anyone know of a record set for largest tube exit? If so how'd they do it? Was it 3 x 3 for 9 people etc. Any YouTube videos etc. Thanks!

I don't recall the year, but when Roger Nelson brought a C130 to the World Skydiving Convention in Quincy, IL, people were doing at least 20 ways, 5 wide by 4 around. They might have been doing 25 ways. There was a picture in either Parachutist or Skydiving magazine, but I have no idea what year to look.
councilman24 37 #3 August 27, 2012 I believe first year for the WFFC and the C-130 was 1986. I have video I shot on a couple of loads. With later C-130's the tubes got bigger. The first year nobody knew what the hell to do with a plane that big. I'm old for my age. Terry Urban D-8631 FAA DPRE
gearless_chris 1 #4 August 28, 2012 My friend Stan was on some of those, but I don't remember how many he said they got up to, close to 30 though. He said they were at the point of having two people on the floor."If it wasn't easy stupid people couldn't do it", Duane. My momma said I could be anything I wanted when I grew up, so I became an a$$hole.
