Bruce1004 0 #1 July 31, 2012 I'm in the military and I'm stationed at Fort Benning Ga. My home DZ is Skydive Deland if I take AFF 1-7 there can I complete the rest of the 25 jumps at Skydive Atlanta ga. Or if i do AFF 1-4 at Skydive Deland can i complete 5-7 at atlanta? If not is there a timeline in witch you have to do all 25 jumps or inbetween jumps? Sorry for all the questions. Thanks , Bruce
excaza 1 #2 July 31, 2012 You can jump wherever you want, but students must do at least one jump every 30 days to remain current.
aulanov 0 #3 July 31, 2012 You should talk to the second DZ and ask if they can take students who started jumping at other DZs. Normally students should jump at least once every 30 days to stay current.

Thanks , Bruce I'd also suggest checking out skydive the farm, though it is a couple hours from VD drive. As far as the training goes, if you're going between DZ's thru your a-license progression, your logbook is VITAL... Make sure you have it filled out properly after every jump. Other than that, try to jump at least a few times a month, currency is very important, especially at the beginning stages of learning to jump. Ft. Benning has a hell of a first jump course by the way... 2 weeks of pullups and 5 jumps the following week."I may be a dirty pirate hooker...but I'm not about to go stand on the corner." iluvtofly DPH -7, TDS 578, Muff 5153, SCR 14890 I'm an asshole, and I approve this message
