I've been told that the LLC will enable them to scam as much as they want to with little or no recourse for the victim. Another layer for them to hide under. Just one more manuver to keep it going and make it more difficult for anyone trying to fight or stop them. It may mean that SDAZ will have to go back to court to get a ruling against the new name. Maybe the USPA should alter their website to guide whuffos to local DZ's. I hate seeing new jumpers ripped off by a crass operator like skyride. To clarify, what I meant is that despite all the predictable efforts of Skyride to evade execution on the judgment, their efforts should prove unsuccessful. As a former employee of 1800SKYRIDE / Lilliam Dejesus I think that I should tell you that they are having some major problems. They have fired most of the staff and have very few employees left. They are not able to pay some of the vendors in the network and are sending business to drop zones knowing that they are going to have trouble paying. Any sales agent that disagrees with doing this has been "let go" by Lilliam Dejesus and Fred Burke and Lilliam Dejesus moved the company to a new location in an attempt to hide from bill collectors / customers. People who call in wanting to use a gift certificates are being put on eternal hold if the vendor is no longer willing to accept reservations because of non-payment. These customer telephone numbers are then put on a Headband LLC computer list so the phone system will not route their calls to an agent. Below is a list of cell phone numbers for company employees that remain. I thought that it would be a good thing to put these direct phone numbers to 1-800-SKYRIDE / Headband LLC employees / owners in a place that 1800SKYRIDE customers could see so that these customers could get a resolution. I know that you have been a skydiving consumer advocate so this is why I am sending this to you. I no longer work there but I would like to see that the customers are able to get some sort of resolution. Providing these contact numbers is probably the best way of doing that.
