NewbieNate 0 #1 February 27, 2012 I lurked for a couple of weeks leading up to my jump, so thanks everyone for the advice and info here. I was scared I was not going to like it, because I really wanted to have a hobby to share with my niece. The guys at sykdive MOAB were awesome and my niece and I felt totally safe and comfortable. My wife was not ready to go with us at the time, but she and her sister (my niece's mom) are now talking about going too. This is us getting to the airport and getting ready to jump. http://youtu.be/OLyBUeTUg3Y Actual plane ride up and the jump: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V8Nsx7waI3s (video is about 10 min) We had a blast! We both loved it!!!! I talked it over with my wife and she has given me the approval to start AFF certification as students. But I was told by the fine folks at skydive MOAB their gear for students won't support me at my current weight (235 right now). So as soon as I can drop some pounds we are going to start AFF on the weekends. And thanks to you guys, I know to have the pros video me so I can focus on learning. I also plan on getting us some tunnel time after another jump or two.I'm new - please excuse my ignorance as I try to get as awesome as you guys are :)

DSE 5 #6 February 29, 2012 Aaron, Clint, and the gang at SD Moab are all great folks. Can't ask for much better views in dry-land jumping, either. Welcome to the sport!
