Question popularity: 2" Don If I cared to expend the energy disabusing non-skydivers of their notions about the cause of most deaths in sport skydiving, I'd show them this. Most whuffos presume (and thank you, news media, for reinforcing this) that most fatalities are from near-terminal impact under a timely-deployed, but unfortunately streamered, reserve, after the "main chute failed".
