Problem was, there was the ability to save the stream and some people did that (which pissed others off). My opinion was/is that if you were not there, then you don't need to know what went on. There are also some jumpers who use Groupme apps for group chats via text messaging on their cell phones. I'm in one with about 6 or 7 others. A couple years ago we had as many as 20 jumpers in a BlackBerry Messenger group. However, as far as online chats via computer, there hasn't been much going on.
