We're so far down the food chain for the FAA, it'll stay status quo for a while. The sad part is that we've lost a guy who was a diver driver for a period of time, and at least could empathize with anything brought before them.
Michael Huerta will likely replace him, and I'm sure the USPA will get along just fine with him. He's got some political affiliations to go along with his resume that make him a prime candidate for the job, but mentioning those will put this thread directly in to SC

Well on one hand we're got a 'case in point' to look to when we make the claim ~ everybody screws up once in a while.

Sorry to see that with Randy though, tough job and he seemed to be trying to push a lot of things forward the FAA has needed to to for a long time.

Hopefully his replacement will stay the course.
