alabamaskydiver 0 #1 October 28, 2011 A couple of days ago, I received an email that was forwarded to me from a popular user here on DZ.com and asked me what I thought of it. I told him to research it and he came back and said that it appears to be a fake company that sells awards. I did a quick web search and found a bunch of scam alerts that indicates that his findings are correct. The following is a copy of the email; I am pleased to announce that 1 800 Sky Ride has been selected for the 2011 Best of Glendale Award in the Skydiving category by the US Commerce Association (USCA). DigitalDave 0 #3 October 28, 2011 That's a scam that has been around for a few years. They try to get businesses to pay for the plaque that is clearly just a photoshopped version of some other award.
