EVOL 0 #1 October 25, 2011 Hey all, I used to fly frankenotter back in the day and I never thought to stop and get a picture of it. I would really like to get a good picture from anyone who has had the obvious idea to capture this unique bird in all its glory. If you have a high resolution pic of frankenotter will you please pm me? Cheers! EVOL
EVOL 0 #2 October 25, 2011 I should add, I'm looking for the original (terrible) paint job. Not the new one where its all shiny.
Remster 30 #3 October 25, 2011 All I have is a pretty crappy low res pic on the home computer from it's days in Lake Wales (1998 or 1999 I guess???)... Let me know if you still want that, I'll look for it and post it.Remster
Scrumpot 1 #4 October 25, 2011 Post it anyway. Peeps who don't know should get a glimpse of this magnificent rare bird! There never was (nor probably will be again) such a "fine", unique jumper-hauler (in Twin-Otter iteration anyway) as was - in her most primal form, the FrankenOtter! Wasn't she (probably) even re-painted, sometime BEFORE "Hi-Res" (digital) became even available? OP - you may just be SOL with regards to getting anything "hi-res" regardless, in any case. coitus non circum - Moab Stone

shah269 0 #9 October 26, 2011 Is that a car door from a VW on the side? WTF is that thing!Life through good thoughts, good words, and good deeds is necessary to ensure happiness and to keep chaos at bay. The only thing that falls from the sky is birdshit and fools! EVOL 0 #10 October 26, 2011 By hi res, I mean something I can blow up into a 12x18" photo to print. I know its a long shot, but I just started jumping digital stills at lake wales when I was flying this beast. So, the technology did exist. It's a long shot but its a fun path down memory lane in the process. Cheers! EVOL
