BillyVance 34 #8 October 11, 2011 I caught a freebag one time. It got hung up on my lines just barely out of reach. Nothing bad happened but it was stupid. I also caught a cutaway canopy on my foot after chasing it while directly over a forest, way up high on a CRW jump. Man it put my canopy in a dive and it took me some time to reach down and reel it in and stuff it between my knees. I lost at least 5000 feet of altitude. By then I couldn't get back to the DZ and had to practice my demo skills on the nearby high school football stadium, which was empty, go figure. I won't be doing either stunt ever again I can tell you that much.
