JohnRich 4 #2 September 24, 2005 Note to readers: "WA" does not stand for the state of Washington, in the USA. It stands for Western Australia...
bob.dino 1 #3 September 25, 2005 I've no more info, but some background: The Western Australian State Champs were on this weekend at the York dropzone in WA. York is close to Perth, if you're looking at a map of Oz. I believe that it's the only turbine dropzone in WA, running a C208; they've definitely got a lot of sport jumpers. Skydive Express is the name of the operation.
Squeak 17 #4 September 26, 2005 didn't see the event so won't speak as to how & what happened, other than to say there was a canopy collision, one jumper was taken to hospital, but was apparently released the next day. Someone will post more when the incident report is finalised. You are not now, nor will you ever be, good enough to not die in this sport (Sparky) My Life ROCKS! How's yours doing?
