RevvyAiny 0 #1 September 27, 2011 Had my third tandem yesterday. Deep leg cramps this morning that woke me up. Same thing happened the first two times. Can someone tell me what this is about and how I can address it?
JackC1 0 #2 September 27, 2011 Medical diagnoses should probably be performed by a doctor not some adrenalin junkies on the interwebz who stand around all day calling each other "dude". But seriously dude, it's probably just your harness not fitting right. I doubt it's like deep vein thrombosis or anything serious man.
dragon2 2 #3 September 27, 2011 QuoteCan someone tell me what this is about and how I can address it? Stop doing tandems. A solo rig will fit better than a tandem harness and give you less problems with bloodflow etc. If you really need to do another tandem, be sure to tell your tandemmaster you keep having this issue, maybe they can adjust the harness/fit you differently. ciel bleu, Saskia

Andy9o8 2 #7 September 28, 2011 Quote deep-vein thrombosis That was my (layman's!!) first thought as soon as I saw the thread title. To RevvyAiny: for god's sake, consult a doctor. This is the worst place to ask for medical advice (which, admit it or not, is the effect of what you're doing). It may be any number of things, medical or otherwise. But deep-vein thrombosis is potentially life-threatening, and it can strike even fairly young people. Best to have a DOCTOR examine you and rule it (or anything else) in or out. (Not to knock hydrating and potassium... drink water and eat a banana on your way to the doctor's office.)
