9/11 Flag jumps

I would like to make a call to action to USPA, dropzones, and demo organizers to sanction flag jumps everywhere this coming Sunday, the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks on America. If you have the ability, set aside time that day to make this happen...... because we remember and will never forget. Our dropzone will be doing the jump at 12 noon. Whether you have a big flag or little flag, this is something we need to do.

We have been practicing for several weeks in full show mode as well as months in the small part mode.

I like the idea of as many DZ's as possible doing some thing local like the OP asks!

Team Fastrax will have 18 jumpers will exit above lower Manhattan from an altitude of 8,500 feet. Ten of these jumpers will be carrying American flags ranging in size from 500sf to 7800sf

I've been told by a few of the jumpers on this that DHS does not seem like they will now approve of it due to increased terrorism concerns in NYC and DC.
