glyrenden 0 #1 September 16, 2005 Hello all, OK First off let me say that I'm a total Noobie. I have 0 (yep 0) jumps. but I done bungy and such. I want to start into the real fun. that being said I would like some advice. I live in Los Angeles. I would like some Ideas of where I would go to do my first jump and training. I would like it to be close to LA, but I am a pilot, so going a little further is not out of the question. I have look at the reviews for Elisnor and Perris and think that these might be the best?? but I have no base of referance on what is good. you all seem to have a lot of knowledge. kelpdiver 2 #3 September 16, 2005 relative to Perris, Elsinore is a 'small' DZ. Relative to most of the rest of California, Elsinore is a big DZ. When I drive south from San Francisco, I prefer Elsinore. But I did some of my training at Perris. Visit both, talk to people each, and make a gut call.
