FatButtSitFlyer 0 #1 May 3, 2011 Hello all who hava attended the Lost Prairie Boogie in the past. I have a question for anyone who might have an answer, comment or opinion. This year the boogie falls on two weekends 7/23-24 AND 7/30-31. I have never been to this boogie and I'm not sure which weekend will give me more bang for my buck??? Unfortunately, I probably do not have enough vacation time to stick around the entire time, which is what led me here to this forum. Which weekend is recommended for the Lost Prairie "first timer" attendee??"

DBCOOPER 5 #3 May 4, 2011 Depends on what you want to do at the boogie and what you mean by bang for the buck. If your interested in low pressure fairly sucessful organized belly jumps at a slower pace, the first half is for you.The second half is more of the traditional partying, trips to the fire tower etc. Its all good though.Replying to: Re: Stall On Jump Run Emergency Procedure? by billvon If the plane is unrecoverable then exiting is a very very good idea. aeroflyer 0 #4 May 4, 2011 Where is lost prarie? I saw a great sticker at a dropzone in Canada that said "lost prarie, where friends hook up with friends"
NWFlyer 2 #5 May 4, 2011 It's in Montana. But you can't come unless you learn how many i's there are in Prairie. "There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. FatButtSitFlyer 0 #7 May 4, 2011 I'm thinking the second half sounds best. I am more interested in the camaraderie, good scenery, great photo ops. And, of course, there is always the skydiving. My husband and I plan to take our time getting up there, stopping at SD Ogden (Utah) and SD Snakeriver (Idaho) on the way.
