ryanksky 0 #1 March 16, 2011 Hey I am going to do AFF this summer for the first time. I am excited but nervous a little and its not about dying. I want to pass my jumps any advice for passing my AFFs? Thanks and blue skies
 JerseyShawn 0 #2 March 16, 2011 Smile, breathe, arch, listen to your instructors, have fun! For me being nervous only lasted the first few jumps, then it got really funGood luck!
 ryanksky 0 #3 March 16, 2011 Thanks for the reply. Is it easy to pass? I am so excited this is such a fun sport!
 guineapiggie101 0 #4 March 16, 2011 AFF is fun. I think everybody has their own rate of advancement. Some do AFF quicker than others. I'm a newbie. I just started AFF about a month ago. I'm stuck on level 3 right now. I'm a bit of a slow learner. Good luck and have fun out there.
 ryanksky 0 #5 March 16, 2011 Thanks and blue skies. hope to share the sky soon!! And that a giant radioactive duck will emerge from the ocean and eat Baltimore. Share with your new friends and your instructors. Have fun. That is what it is all about!--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." However, students master this strange environment at various speeds. Listen to your instructors. Don't seek AFF guidance on the internet... you are paying your instructors for it! Remember the definition of a good skydive: A good skydive is one where you walk to the hangar under your own power after the jump. Anything more than that is gravy. The beer advice above is good... except that there are some mighty fine beers that come in brown bottles! - Smile - Breathe - Relax The choices we make have consequences, for us & for others! Dont assume its easy however, I was fairly coordinated with various sports before starting AFF like Rock Climbing, Surfing, etc. Skydiving is like surfing in that it takes a while to become comfortable in body position jumping out of a plane. I thought initially it was going to be easy but the first 10 jumps although they went well really worked me good. That way, when you brain is working on a 2nd grade level, your body will remember what to do. And have fun.
