MakeItHappen 15 #1 March 3, 2011 I don't have the gift of gab to chat this up. That's why I write articles and refer people to them. Here's a good one for the upcoming Safety Day Avoiding Canopy Collisions I'll gladly take criticisms and input from people. This article was printed in SNM a few years back. It's been reviewed by many people already. This is public domain - FREE to use. I don't even care if you remove the credits - just get the message out. Blue Skies are Safe Skies. .. mghanco 0 #3 March 4, 2011 Maybe this is DZ dependant but it seems to me like the depiction, "Landing On Parallel Runways" looks wrong. Given that the green area is representing a clearly marked landing area, like at an Eloy or similarly marked DZ wouldn't this depiction present some unsafe practices? Flying over the landing zone on anything other than the final approach, or crossing patterns the patterns in the way depicted just seems off.
