ManagingPrime 0 #28 February 2, 2011 Everything. 4 guns to complete AFF and everything in my house and my car to move from Ohio to Eloy, AZ. Can't lie...three months living in a tent has sucked at times, but honestly it was the best thing I've ever done with my life.

skyfreek 1 #35 February 3, 2011 sounds funny to say, but i sold my rig so i could jump. it was a newer one, so i got a lot for it, borrowed a rig for 3 months and bought a used cheaper one.
jonstark 8 #36 February 3, 2011 When I started jumps were cheap ($3.50 to 7500'!) I never had to sell anything but I spent a lot of nights in the hangar on dusty sofas saving gas money rather than commute the hour to home. Back then I didn't have anything to sell anyway! jon

FreeflyGoat 0 #40 February 3, 2011 I really wanted to jump one weekend so I sold my guitar amp, speaker cabinet, all my effects, and the guitar. I spent it all in one weekend. Then I had to get out of jail another time, so I had someone sell my BASE rig for me to post bail :( Still haven't replaced it._________________________ goat derka jerka bukkake jihad

airtwardo 7 #45 February 3, 2011 I started jumping in 1976...a couple weeks into it I sold my Kawasaki 750 triple (two stroke)...quite a crotch rocket at the time, to buy my 1st rig, paid for 350.00 for that and put 750.00 on the books for jump tix. I was 18 and my folks were really happy I gave up the bike for something safer! ~ If you choke a Smurf, what color does it turn? ~

vanair 0 #47 February 3, 2011 Was waiting for that answer, thought it would be the first answer. Never sold anything but worked in a bakery at 0430-0830 on weekends and 1630-2030 school days washing pots to buy my first rig. Then 1 time I actually hitchhiked to Lakewood NJ 65 miles away with my rig cause I was too young to drive and borrow the family car, not that they would let me. Another time at the DZ I had I think $4.00, could eat lunch or do a hop & pop from 4,500'. Jumped!
normiss 798 #48 February 3, 2011 I had a KH-500 triple in high school. DAYUMMM! On the safer note, my mom still tells me she thinks jumping is safer than the bike. I promised not to mention riding the bike to the DZ....
