airtwardo 7 #26 November 30, 2010 Quote Quote Maybe you should hold your comments until another newbie wants to lie to a DZO and jump a wing suit well before the BSR permits, as that seems to be your area of expertise. There is no BSR for wingsuits Oh really? ~ If you choke a Smurf, what color does it turn? ~
davelepka 4 #27 November 30, 2010 QuoteThere is no BSR for wingsuits If you note my post, I removed the wingsuit remark and sent you a PM noting the change as I had you mixed up with another guy, and that comment was not fair to you. Of course, you have taken advantage of the opportunity to display yet another thing you don't know about skydiving. Right out of the SIM - Quote1. Before attempting a wing-suit jump, a skydiver should: a. have a minimum of 500 freefall skydives; or a minimum of 200 freefall skydives, made within the past 18 months, and receive one-on-one instruction from an experienced wing suit jumper What's also surprising is that for a new guy to the sport who claims to have such extensive experience, knowledge and is so opinionated, you managed to miss the most recent BSR, the only one adoopted anywhere near your time in the sport. I guess we can mark off, 'extensive research' when we wonder where your opinions come from, becasue it's certainly not that.

dgskydive 0 #30 November 30, 2010 QuoteWe did a 100-way with two sitflyers. Also an 80? way with Eli in the center sitflying with a tube. Yeah but this one was first and it is 106 I think. You are on this arent you? Kallend, it was Mike and John.Dom
dgskydive 0 #31 November 30, 2010 QuoteSweet! Looks like a lot of belly fliers wishing they knew how to SIT, lol Or a bunch of RW folks wondering why the freeflyer is getting all the glory. I mean geez, all he has to do is stay level and hang on to the tube. We have to fly the slot and take grips and all the hard stuff.Dom

For all we know, the exited too soon after the previous group and just happened in on them... So back to the original question - whats the largest hybrid per JP's definition? (i.e. docked freeflyers on flatflyers?) Edited to add: We did a very nice 16-way hybrid at Raeford a few weeks back. See attached.Scars remind us that the past is real
dgskydive 0 #33 November 30, 2010 JP will change his mind about that once he realizes that by his definition he will not be on the "biggest". He is in the pic I posted. He will get on the bandwagon then. Dom

happythoughts 0 #39 December 2, 2010 Quote We did a very nice 16-way hybrid at Raeford a few weeks back. See attached. That is a really nice 16-way. It seems like there should be some sort of minimum to qualify as a hybrid. Example - a 50-way with 1 sitflyer is a hybrid, but... At the minimum, a 2-10 ratio perhaps. On Page 71 of the Nov Parachutist is a pic of a 15-way hybrid from earlier this year. 10 flat-fliers and 3 vertical and 2 sit-fliers. It was a 2-pt attempt. On later attempts, 2 headdown people docked on the top. There were a number of good 1-pt dives, but the second points had difficult speed differences.
