DSE 5 #79 October 30, 2010 There are a few people approaching the 4 min mark with a regular altitude jump in a wingsuit, too. 4 mins from 18K isn't a big deal anymore.
JohnMitchell 16 #80 October 30, 2010 Well, I think you should get your O2 mask on and up that mark a bit.
rmsmith 1 #81 November 11, 2010 Quote Here are some short videos that should open ones eyes to the risks/dangers involved. Interesting clips. Back when dad was a young Lieutenant his B17 was shot down while daylight bombing Leipzig. In a panic he exited the crippled plane as it rolled over while north of 30,000-ft and deployed the chute. He had no oxygen, but his adrenalin level was maxed as he drifted through an aerial artillery barrage emptying his bladder along the way. He had the presence of mind to toss his pistol and knife before landing, and he was lucky the German troops captured him before the civilians who would have killed him on the spot. He was taken by rail to a prison camp on the north sea. The Russians liberated them during a looting and raping rampage. Anyway, you can survive up there briefly without a bottle.
