propacker 0 #1 October 21, 2010 so I came home last night and found an envelope from USPA. Opened it and there was my newly renewed membership/ratings card. So I continued sorting thru my mail and there was another envelope from USPA - figured that they were sending a final renewal notice and that and the new license got crossed in the mail - well, it was another copy of my membership card. Continued to sort thru the mail and there was yet another envelope containing another copy of my membership card. Continued sorting thru the mail and there was ANOTHER envelope with a copy of my new membership card. that made 4 copies of my membership card!! postage for each was $.44 and I would guess handeling and materials brought it up to about $1.00. They wasted $3.00 on me !! if they do that for all 31,000 members of USPA - that totals up to about $100.000. anyone one else have this happen to them?? skycamefalling 0 #2 October 21, 2010 That seems like a pretty odd mistake. Someones print button must have gotten stuck. Might wanna check to see if you got a renewel fee charged to you 4 times. grimmie 186 #4 October 21, 2010 It would save a ton of money if we could renew our memberships by computer. There has to be a way to do it. I know many of us need signatures for our ratings, but there has to be an easy solution. I renew my USA Hockey membership on line and it works out great. I renewed online every year till this year (since I earned a rating last year). I don't have the stats but I would venture to guess the majority of USPA members hold no ratings and can renew online. What would be great is if the renewal reminders came via email instead of snail mail. The members who need rating signatures could print out a PDF form, the members who don't can go straight to the web site to renew."There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. popsjumper 2 #6 October 21, 2010 You play hockey???? Cut it out! That's dangerous ! And, I might add, fiscally irresponsible. My reality and yours are quite different.
