AggieDave 6 #5 September 11, 2010 Woo-fO And/or watch the movie Cutaway. It should cost around $5 or less at WalMart, in the super-bargin-crappy-movie bin.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."

thrillstalker 0 #10 September 12, 2010 an add is short for automatic activation device. if everything goes to shit and you don't have a canopy out around a 1000 feet, the aad will cut a piece of string and allow your back up chute to open. it is just a back up device and should NOT be relied upon. some dz's require an aad but most do not. it is mostly a personal decision and for me its cheap life insurance. it might not work, but then again it might save my life. whuffo is a term skydivers use to talk about non-skydivers. so until you make a skydive, you are a whuffo."Never grow a wishbone, where your backbone ought to be."
