two40 0 #2 January 9, 2007 ouch. haven't had a problem like that but i do have bruises on my knees and my lower back plus butt is really sore. very first jump i did i was a walking sore muscle for 3 days. i was out of shape so yeah.
kris2extreme 0 #3 January 9, 2007 that is just the first of many misc bruises, scratches, scrapes, cuts, and bumps you will receive from skydiving... most of them you won't find until days later and have absolutely no clue where they came from. sore muscles are fun too. It builds character
 floridadiver81 0 #4 January 9, 2007 i know where it came from though and how it got there. The entire canopy ride my shoulder harness was off my shoulders. i was suspended pretty much by the leg straps only..which was the painfull part. I tried pulling myself further up into the harness....but to no avail. It deffinately has not turned me away from the sport..just made more all the more wiser for next time....tighten them damn legs straps...lol"Age has absolutely nothing to do with knowledge, learning, respect, attitude, or personality." -yardhippie "Fight the air, and the air will kick your ass!!! Any videos/pictures you see, if you look closely enough you'll see that the shoulder straps are up off the shoulders. Don't worry, eventually the inside of your thighs will get used to it. Did you make the leg straps uneven by over tightening one side? I'll also throw some blame at your instructor for not keeping a better eye on you after he dressed you. I used the thumbs up method. However, to avoid any extra bulk and the chance of a "nut under" malfunction, I would probably recommend for you to use the thumbs down method.
