Skydiving NZ Dimpola in Commercial Skydiving

Hi there All,

I was wondering if anyone has any views, experiences either first hand or not regarding the dimploma offered by Skydiving NZ. I can see that there are various posts but these are some time ago and I was hoping for something more recent.

Look very carefully at exactly what ratings / licences that you will receive. A friend of mine recently had to spend a considerable ammount of $ above what he paid at the course in order to crossover the ratings he received so that he could be work in NZ.

So basically the course is all about experience rather than the qualifications you achieve?

If you don't mind me asking what did your friends go on to do? Did they think the course was on the whole beneficial or a waste of good money?

Sorry but i'm after as much info as possible because its obviously a big step.

Thanks for that search link. I have dug a bit already, but cant seem to find any fresh posts. They all seem to be at least a year old regarding the course i'm interested in.
