Just wondering where would be the best DZ to learn in the USA?

I did my first tandem in home country Australia a few months ago and have decided rather than doing my license in Australia I will make it a holiday to the USA.

any suggestions?

West coast would be the closest, Perris is always a safe bet. Lots of planes always flying, on-site wind tunnel, on-DZ bunk house and restaurant. An hour-ish from LA when you don't want to jump, and 20 min from Elsinore when you want someplace else to jump.

Sorry; but that's really too broad a question. There are hundreds of DZs in the US, and several dozens that would fit your requirements. People will tend to answer with their personal favorites.

I'd suggest you first narrow down what region(s) of the US in which you want to take your holiday, and then educate yourself on the DZs in that/those region(s).
