best rig?

Recommended Posts

OK,

There's a lot about what is considered bad out there, How about what you consider the best. I have a Dolphin and a Vector. The Dolphin, though a rather inexpensive rig is probably the most comfortable I have ever jumped. The Vector on the other hand I find a bit stiff and I'm always messing with riser flaps.

Toss up between my Voodoo's and the Stunts Eclipse. Both incredibly comfortable.
Voodoo with the dynamic cut is awesome; never know it's there. Packed with a PD Storm and Optimum reserve, lovin' it.
Love the custom embroidery that RI did for me too. my Voodoo eye looks the same today as it did 500 jumps ago.
CYPRES 2 in both of em'.
Most important to me is how they feel on my back and how they pack up. Every rigger that has packed the Voodoo has commented on how nice it is.

Best rig -

a combination of :

fits me well
has the colors I like
has the options I like

I have jumped every single popular mainstream thing on the US market that's "modern" and when the harness fit me well, I was quite happy with them.

I have personally OWNED (As in put at least a few months of jumping on) : Infinity (two of them), Javelin (two of them), Mirage (one) and have been happy with them as well. The only reason I owned those brands were because I got them used and they worked well for me, I was never brand specific. My current setup is a Javelin + Optimum + Spectre + Cypres2

These threads are pointless. It's like beating a dead horse.

Vectors are the best because that's what I jump and why wouldn't I jump the best gear possible? Seriously, it's true!

It's always like asking "what's the best car?":D:D

I like my Infinity. Super secure double riser covers, never had the tuck tab come out, never had a premature opening on it. I have owned a rig where I had a preemie twice. That brand shall remain nameless in my post.;)

Vector, and Bill Booth, have always led the way in innovation. Skyhook is a cool thing. There's a competing system in the testing phase that I like too. Don't have a schedule for when that'll be produced.

Just about all the rigs feel good on my back. I'm a fairly tall guy and not too flexible, though, so I could probably wear a suitcase on my back and not have it affect my flying.:P:D

Nobody cares what kind of car you prefer... :P

But anyways, how did you get them to install secondary riser covers on your car? Does it keep the pedals from popping out when you go too fast?:D
