Deuce 1 #26 July 29, 2003 3 Spectres (1X170 and 2X150)and 3 PDR's (1X176 and 2X143) PD143R saved my life. What's not to like?
 katiebear21 0 #27 July 29, 2003 That's all I've ever jumped even as a student, all my gear rentals, and my current canopy! PD was awesome when I was looking to downsize. Kolla worked with me and hooked me up with Sunshine Factory when she didn't have a demo she could send me in the short time I needed. Sun Path let me use a demo for a while until I bought my own. Nothing but good things to say about PD! My next reserve will definitely be a PD. Their customer service has been top notch over the years.
 chuckakers 425 #36 July 18, 2010 QuoteI have been dealing with Performance Designs in purchasing my new Velocity and have been absolutely blown away by their customer service! They are some of the best people to work with and have been so willing to help me! I am one HAPPY customer!! No, I don't work for them, I am just your everyday customer who was looking for a new cross-braced canopy. And that is what makes them so awesome! I am not bashing any other canopy manufactuers, I have no grounds to do so, I am just telling my experience with PD. I love it when I hear someone use the term "PD snob". Cause if being loyal to a company that treats their customers like gold makes me a snob, then damn straight, I am proud to be a PD snob! :) Rusty Vest of PD said something to me yesterday that you don't hear much from companies anymore. He said- "We look at every customer as an individual, take each situation seperately, and do our best to accomodate them." That is what seperates PD from the rest, in my opinion. And of course the fact that they make the best canopies in the world! :) If you are in the market for a new canopy, I highly recommend giving PD a call! I am sure you will not be disappointed with either the service you get or the products they make! +1Chuck Akers D-10855 Houston, TX
 tbrown 26 #37 July 18, 2010 Quote Good to hear!I'm partial to my Pilots and Smart myself, but PD makes nice canopies too. I think that has added to putting a target on their backs for a long time. I love that guys like Rusty are still around doing what they do best. I remember being 19 years old and getting demo canopies from Rusty/Kolla (Sandy too I think) and friends. I remember asking him some questions about this new canopy they had coming out, and his reply was "check your mail in a week or so". He sent me a Sabre 2 before they were released to the public to try out. As I remember, it didn't even have the name on the stabilizer (maybe it did?...story sounds better if it didn't). I've always had great experiences with PD and owned many of their canopies (Sabre 150, stiletto 135,107 and 97). I've never had a bad experience with any other makers, but I have always been impressed with PD.
