Melissa126 0 #1 May 13, 2010 Scheduled to make my first tandem jump while on vacation in June!!! I've always been an adrenaline junkie, so I think it's time for the plunge! I have a feeling either two things will happen 1) I'll die 2) I'll be hooked and have a new expensive hobby! Just thought I'd share! Couldn't find any friends that were willing to come with me... so it's just me

Flyfast 0 #4 May 13, 2010 If you come over to Skydive Delmarva, you'll meet plenty of new friends to jump with! Skydive DMV offers AFF and Tandem, and were only about 35 minutes away from the beach ZC OG

Melissa126 0 #6 May 13, 2010 Thanks everyone! I weighed out the pros and cons, but you know if I googled "horseback riding risks" there's no way I would think it is safe, but I jump 2000lb animals around every night. I'd rather risk it while I'm young then die old and never have done anything. It might be tough to have my bf drive me to two different skydiving places in one vacation haha [note: he is not jumping!!!] I live in the Poconos of PA, there is "sky's the limit" skydive center within minutes of my house... not a good thing if I do get hooked! I can look out my window at work on a clear day and see them comin down. Just looking to meet some new friends with the same adrenaline addiction

Southern_Man 0 #8 May 13, 2010 I was hooked from my first jump. Still new at it. One of the up-jumpers told me I'd be better off starting to do heroin. Cheaper and easier to quit."What if there were no hypothetical questions?"
