Classic accuracy resources

Recommended Posts

I'm getting into classic accuracy this season. Currently building a rig.
I'm having a hard time finding any resources though, after searching the forums most of the links provided are no longer working.
I don't know any local accuracy jumpers and would love to go to some meets.

Any resources you could provide would be awesome!

You need to go to the North America Cup Meets.
Visit http://styleandaccuracy.wordpress.com/2009-parachute-accuracy-meets/ Contact Cheryl Stearns, Jim Hayhurst, Marius Ivascu for info on more training camps. There's one going on in Lodi, CA right now.
Also, Andre Cup Meet at Connecticut Parachutists Inc. Contact Billy Beaudreau.

Closer to you is the Northwest Accuracy Council ... or whatever they call themselves these days???

They host four or five mini accuracy meets over the season in Pitt Meadows, BC and Snohomish, Washington.
They bring a tuffet, FAI judges and several former members of national accuracy teams.
They are eager to share accuracy advice with keen young jumpers.

Cool Rob, Thanks!
I would go to the one at pitt in a few weeks but my C1 course is the same weekend so I can't make it :(
Pretty excited to get my C1 though, its going to be a great year of learning and jumping and sharing my love for the sport with others!
Hopefully I can make it to the next meet they have at pitt later this summer:)

Your profile indicates you are in Edmonton. Go to Eden North and talk to Rich. He's Czech, and would be more than happy to teach you anything you want to know about accuracy if you are willing to listen and accept constructive criticism. I don't know you and don't presume to know what kind of a person you are, but he can come across as a bit stern, and if you act like an idiot or do too much dumb stuff, he probably won't want to talk to you.

He also likes good beer. Czech if you can find it.

Tell him Shawn says hi. :)
