OG-Tahiti 0 #1 February 17, 2010 Hey everyone! I had so much fun doing it that I felt like sharing Here is a little video edit I did of a very fun jump I had during my last jumping trip at Elsinore. http://vimeo.com/9513660 So Luc got us jumping together, and was wearing a GoProHD so we could get some cool footy. It was my first 4 way and 3 way linked exit. I am in black and white with the mamba in the video, Chris is wearing a black and red jacket, he is a really good paraglider from Austria who just got into skydiving, he has about 80 jumps (one of his Speed Flying video: INSANE http://vimeo.com/8437111). And the other jumper is Phil, a really cool guy from Switzerland with about 60 jumps I think. And me standing proud on my 44 jumps haha. So we had the perfect international noob dream team ready for Lucas to handle Here is how it went down The exit was really cool and funny, we almost had it but Chris kinda kept his hand on my chest strap so Phil ended up struggling for grip and starting doing a bronco hahah good times lol. I can also now see in the video how straight my legs are on exit. I *think* it was kinda on purpose I thought better have forward pressure on my mates and my legs in the hill would flip us to belly faster right? No idea if I made things worse Well, then we got real stable in a now two link and broke it up to try to reform. I started going for Luc (camera) and he pointed me towards Phil so we tracked together towards him, that was awesome!!! We managed to reform into a 3 way star, my first ever formation!!! You can see in the video that I keep staring at my alti thats because I am trying to read it between Luca's fingers lol. When that happens I should look right for someone else's alti? I could also have just waited for break off I guess. Then we broke it off and I had the coolest track. For the first time I had to have my head on a swivel. As we did the star I had lost visual track of Chris that never caught up. So I was looking back right and left as I was tracking for the first time really. Man it is just INSANE to look between your legs and see Luc track away, have a look to the left and see Phil... Crazy sights that are now engraved!! Ahh sorry for the wall of text. I found that my recollection of what happened on the jump was worth sharing as I had such a blast doing it.
