Coming from France with a rig

Hi folks,

I intend to come with my French rig for jumping in the US.

Harness is an ADVANCE made in 2003. Canopy is an Electra 190 (Parachute de France).

My cypres is currently down. Being in NY, where can I change the batteries easily and have my reserve repacked easily ? If I go to Eloy, can they change the batteries and repack on the spot ?

have it repacked and re-batteried before leaving.

1-most certainly you will have hard times to find someone who already packed an Advance
2-you will have to repack it in 6 months

With all the jumpers visiting Eloy from so many countries, I doubt there is a container/reserve they have not seen and would be unable to repack.

Seen it, definitely. Packed the reserve, not too often. But there are a few locals who came here form Europe with PDF rigs, so maybe they have more exposure to euro rigs.

Your best bet will be to call them and ask.
