Shepp 0 #2 November 8, 2007 Sean, you could try to run it in XP2 compatibility mode (both during install and run-time). This has worked for me on several other vista-unfriendly apps. Holler if you need help.
IanRosenvinge 0 #3 January 10, 2010 If you turn off the user account control setting in Vista it will install & work ok - has done with us for last 2yrs. We are now having problems installing it on windows 7 anybody any solutions for that. Ian Peterlee Parachute Centre UK
tkhayes 348 #4 January 10, 2010 that's good to know, I guess. At least I know not to upgrade to W7 right yet. We have run JumpRun 5 for years, but the development is dead and they do not plan to update the product. Start looking for other solutions now while you can. mdrejhon 8 #5 January 10, 2010 Windows7 Professional (not Home) also has an XP Mode, that solves the problem for Windows7-unfriendly applications.
ferrisssavior 0 #6 January 11, 2010 Not always. Some programs refuse to run in the compatibility mode, but those are mostly older programs, but still its not a catch all.
