faulknerwn 38 #27 July 27, 2009 Laugh. He did a great job feeling my camera on level 7 :) he's been working as a dz heyboy all summer( cleaning bathrooms etc) to pay for his aff. His packing is getting faster and better and he'll be a dx bum soon. Unfortunately he's gotta go back to high school so we will lose him during the week soon

JohnMitchell 16 #30 July 27, 2009 17. I'll have 35 years in jumping this September. I've spent 2/3rds of my life jumping. Not bad. It's been good to me.

headoverheels 333 #33 July 27, 2009 18. It is good to start while you are still immortal. I made three s/l jumps my first day, was jumping my own rig by jump 8.

LyraM45 0 #38 July 29, 2009 Wanted to go when I was about 13 or 14 and was told I had to be 18. I skipped school on my 18th birthday to make my first tandem and never looked back. Apologies for the spelling (and grammar).... I got a B.S, not a B.A. :)

mikey348 0 #43 August 2, 2009 Started at 19 doing static line as a poor college student. Now at 36 I'm still going strong and lovin every minute of it. It doesn't hurt to get paid to jump too. "Admit nothing, deny everything, and demand proof"

kpipes22 0 #46 August 3, 2009 17 Back in 1968; DZ no longer there; at Eagle Field, about 10 miles west of Firebaugh, CA. I flagged for cropdusters there when I was a kid. One year after USPA changed its name, to USPA (forget what it was called before that). Jumpmaster: Ron Diaz. Did two static lines on round chutes out of a Cessna 182. Forgot to turn into the wind for landing; crashed and burned. pinkfairy 0 #50 August 5, 2009 28. Had just started in a new job and thrown out my lazy, good for nothing BF. Really wanted to start jumping, but didn't think I'd dare to go out of the plane. I did a tandem first, and then I really didn't have a problem getting out. Signed up for AFF the following week. Relax, you can die if you mess up, but it will probably not be by bullet.
