kpipes22 0 #1 August 4, 2009 Still "newby" after all those years; just curious - - I see a number of advertisements for some seriously big, carbon-fiber, or plastic, chin cups on various helmets. Advantages? Disadvantages?"You can't overcome weakness by fighting it, or by thinking your way out of it: Evolution doesn't work that way . . . You overcome weakness by leaving it behind you!" ~ Stuart Wilde ~

kpipes22 0 #3 August 4, 2009 Thank you. I just figured out there are many prior posts, AND, I just learned how to use the Forum Search feature. Sorry to ask pre-answered question."You can't overcome weakness by fighting it, or by thinking your way out of it: Evolution doesn't work that way . . . Chubba 0 #4 August 4, 2009 I got a chincup on my Cookie Rok before I found on what they were actually for, got the helmet at 18 jumps. I thought it was mainly for comfort and secondly looked cool. Oh well, at least when I slap a camera on in 60 jumps it's already there, silly me.
