Sky Chess!

I really want to play a blitz game of chess while skydiving. This is a plan to do in about 50-100 jumps from now and I an gathering information about how to make the board and mount the clock, or even if it would be safe to bring a chess board on a skydive.
Any suggestions? Anyone know of someone who has already done this?

There is a photo pf a couple with a scrabble board in freefal but i'm sure the pieces are glued in place for the photo.

you would have to use magnets and you would have to be super fast. you only have about 60 secounds and that is if you are stable.

easier said than done, but not impossible.

Hi ...Norm Kent's photos and set-up were pretty cool. But as a prior poster said, you have only about 60 seconds or less, so might I suggest using an end-game problem in stead of blitz? A classic King-Pawn, two Bishop, or Rook ending MAY be accomplished in that time with two good players .... and magnets would need to be enhanced.

I dunno....I would hate to have a Bishop drill me on the ground that was lost in freefall.....
