jeremy_o 0 #1 March 26, 2009 Hi, As an active skydiver, I find it odd that there isn't a single stop for all the skydiving related blogs out there. So, I created http://planetskydive.net/ This site is an aggregation of skydiver blogs. So, if you have a blog you can get added to this site by emailing me or sending me a PM. So far it is just me and the USPA blog. I emailed PD but they haven't responded yet. Read this for more info: http://blog.jolexa.net/2009/02/23/new-project-httpplanetskydivenet/http://planetskydive.net/ - An online aggregation of skydiver's blogs. DSE 5 #2 March 26, 2009 "You cannot advertise products for sale..." in bold as the 'only rule' is probably somewhat is off-putting to a company like PD (and mine). I have blogged a great deal about various skydiving events and experiences, but occasionally blog about various products, why I like them, and in two cases, why I produced products related to skydiving. Limiting speech to be non-offensive is one thing; telling PD or other skydiving manufacturer they can't "market" through their blog defeats the very intention of a manufacturer's intentionality for blogging. jeremy_o 0 #3 March 26, 2009 I'm pretty lax, I just don't want it to become a classified section. "I really need to sell my Factory Diver" for example. Likewise, I have been subscribed to PD's blog for many months and never seen an advertisement from them. I would actually welcome a post now and then about new products that they release. Edit to add: A blog post about releasing a new product, or why you produced something is different than a blog post explicitly to sell an item. I think it would be nice to expose your experiences/event reviews to a wider audience, DSE. http://planetskydive.net/ - An online aggregation of skydiver's blogs. That way you can subscribe there and *only* read about skydiving stuff instead of my whole blog which has lots of crap that you don't care about. http://planetskydive.net/ - An online aggregation of skydiver's blogs. Also when i think at all the obama pseudo reality crap.

erikph 0 #11 April 10, 2009 hello, I have been blogging about skydiving for a few years now. My blog is my logbook . Some people like my blog and read it, some may even have learned a thing or two. And of course you're free not to read it... If you want to aggregate it or do something with it, use one of it's RSS feeds. That's what they're there for. blue skies, http://myjumps.blogspot.com/
