ZombieFood 0 #80 January 19, 2009 My first 2009 jump was from the Otter at Taft after not having jumped since mid-May 2008. Busted my foot and took a long time getting back out. Today is the one year anniversary of my first jump though and I'm finally back at it!

BikerBabe 0 #83 January 20, 2009 my first 2009 "jump" was from...a ski lift. well, more of a step really. or a slide, i suppose. Though i MUST say for all you inclined to BASE jump...the new Peak 2 Peak gondola at Whistler Blackcomb was sure looking tempting! labrys 0 #90 January 30, 2009 Quote Your first 2009 jump was from a... ...roof. Trying to clear icicles that were threatening to tear down the phone wires. Hey... it was falling and it was free. And it was good luck that there was a few feet of snow on the ground. Owned by Remi #?
Pokerstar 0 #91 February 1, 2009 Quote My first this year was from an Otter, but my last for 2008 was from a DC3. So jealous! I would give (somebody else's) right leg to jump from a DC-3Fortunately, I'm adhering to a pretty strict, uh, drug, uh, regimen to keep my mind, you know, uh, limber. --- The Dude ---

squarecanopy 0 #96 February 3, 2009 Lazy day at Mile High. Only the Cessna 206 was flying, so I jumped out of it twice. It was damn cold at altitude, but hey....a cold afternoon of skydiving is better than the best day at work! Just burning a hole in the sky.....

wolfriverjoe 1,523 #98 February 9, 2009 How do I change My vote? I got my first of the year out of a 182 this afternoon. Just a short delay from 5k, but lots of fun.Got wet feet from the snow, so I stayed on the ground for the second. That turned out to be a good idea. The second load went up to 10, where the winds were blowing about 50mph. They didn't spot very well. "There are NO situations which do not call for a French Maid outfit." SivaGanesha 2 #99 February 22, 2009 Quote SkyDance's Pac750 XL Same here today--my first jump of 2009 and it was from the PAC 750 at SkyDance. The use of the Cessna was briefly considered until enough jumpers showed up although the PAC 750 was not full."It's hard to have fun at 4-way unless your whole team gets down to the ground safely to do it again!"--Northern California Skydiving League re USPA Safety Day, March 8, 2014
